Manufacturing method of Coin type EDLC
The activated carbon and binder are mixed and formed into a sheet.
A disc with a specific diameter is punched from the electrode sheet.
Conductive adhesives are used to adhere the electrodes punched from the sheet to the metal case and lid that will form the capacitor.
After drying, the case and cover (with the electrodes glued inside) are filled in a dry box
Filled with organic liquid electrolyte.
The case and cap are assembled together with a separator and gasket, and the case is crimped in the case to seal the opening, forming a button cell.
100% of our coin cells are electrically tested.
Since the withstand voltage of a single button cell is between 2.8 and 3.0V
Two or three of these cells are therefore connected in series.
Apply the rated voltage to age (combine) the component.
The final product is 100% electrically tested and visually inspected to prevent faults.
Manufacturing method of Cylindrical type EDLC
A slurry of coating material is made by mixing activated carbon, solvents and other materials.
The activated carbon electrode is made by coating the activated carbon material on the aluminum foil.
The coated activated carbon electrode is cut into winding bodies of different sizes
The leads are connected by crimping or ultrasonic bonding to make contact with the cathode and anode foil layers.
Layers of electrolytic paper are wound between the cathode and anode foil layers, separating the conductive layers during the winding process to form “elements”.
The element is wetted by the electrolyte, for example using lower pressure to drive the fluid into the element.
