ZhifengWei has launched the ILC Series, a groundbreaking lineup that amalgamates electrolytic lithium-ion supercapacitors with lithium-ion auxiliary batteries and traditional electric double-layer capacitors (EDLC). This innovative series boasts immense energy storage capacity coupled with remarkable reliability. Leveraging ZhifengWei’s hybrid lithium-ion capacitor technology, the process of “pre-lithiation” is employed, enabling the pre-storage of lithium ions within the anode. This technique enhances energy utilization efficiency and extends the product’s lifespan. Notably, the energy density of this series is four to ten times that of EDLCs, making it suitable for deployment as an independent power source or for load balancing, thereby prolonging the lifespan of primary power sources like dry batteries and lithium-ion main batteries.
The ILC Series encompasses various capacitance values such as 10F, 40F, 80F, 120F, 220F, and 750F, and operates within a temperature range of -20°C to 70°C. With an extended maximum voltage of 3.8V (1.5 times that of traditional capacitors, ranging from 2.3V to 2.7V), it presents a versatile solution for a wide array of applications.
Official mass production of the ILC Series commenced in October 2019. For more detailed information, we kindly advise you to liaise with our designated distributor representatives.
